Memories...
Boomer was the last born in
his litter,
but here he is the centre of the crowd!
Boomer was adopted as an eight
week old puppy.
Here we met up with Boomer at a park
when he was 10 months
old and enjoying the family reunion.
Through a series of events
which he took bravely,
Boomer was re-homed to us when he was 6 1/2 years
old.
Despite looking serious here, when he walked in the door that day,
he had a smile on his face and he
knew that he was "home".
After being groomed, Boomer wants to get up on the table again.
Meggie should move over!
Boomer is a serious boy at times, but is a very handsome lad!
In early 1998 we moved to a
property in the country.
Boomer took a walk around the property and
had a
look of pure pleasure on his face.
We think he believed that I bought him
his own personal park.
Here Boomer stands as lord and master of "Boomer's
Park".
At 9 1/2 years old, Boomer
discovered sheep and his life took another turn.
He loved his adventures in
herding, including a trip
to the first Beardie Clan Ceilidh herding specialty!
He made many new friends on that trip to Nebraska.
Boomer patrolled his park in
the snow of winter to be sure all was well.
