September 8, 1988 - January 15, 2002

Memories...

Boomer, a blck bearded collie, was in Megan's first litter. Here the five puppies are sitting on the couch. Boomer is in the middle.
Boomer was the last born in his litter,
but here he is the centre of the crowd!

Boomer was adopted by a young couple when he was 8 weeks old. Here he is 10 months old at a family reunion at a park.
Boomer was adopted as an eight week old puppy.
Here we met up with Boomer at a park
when he was 10 months old and enjoying the family reunion.

Boomer, along with his Curious Geiorge came back to his birth home in 1995. Here is is lying on the family room carpet
Through a series of events which he took bravely,
Boomer was re-homed to us when he was 6 1/2 years old.
Despite looking serious here, when he walked in the door that day,
he had a smile on his face and he knew that he was "home".

Boomer loves being groomed. Here he is sitting next to the grooming table, wantig Meggie to move over.
After being groomed, Boomer wants to get up on the table again.
Meggie should move over!

A handsome lad, Boomer is sitting in the den looking at his mommy.
Boomer is a serious boy at times, but is a very handsome lad!

Boomer is standing in the front garden of the new proprty we moved to. He thinks it is his park.
In early 1998 we moved to a property in the country.
Boomer took a walk around the property and
had a look of pure pleasure on his face.
We think he believed that I bought him his own personal park.
Here Boomer stands as lord and master of "Boomer's Park".

Boomer at his herding instinct test, moving the sheep in the pen.
At 9 1/2 years old, Boomer discovered sheep and his life took another turn.
He loved his adventures in herding, including a trip
to the first Beardie Clan Ceilidh herding specialty!
He made many new friends on that trip to Nebraska.

January 1999, Boomer is sitting in the snow clearded driveway, with the snowbanks nearly at the top of his head.
Boomer patrolled his park in the snow of winter to be sure all was well.
