| The Black Walnut Folk Club was started in Kitchener, Ontario in September 1994 by a group of local folk music enthusiasts to help promote folk music and local performers. Today the club presents a monthly open stage and provides a 1/2 hour guest spot each week for a local performer. A $3.00 charge is made at the door to cover room and equipment costs.
