Ukraine



In 1918, Czarist Russian stamps with the Ukrainian Trident overprinted on them were used by the Ukrainian National Republic.  Numerous variations of this overprint exist and were issued out of various Ukrainian cities:  Issued in area of Podolia and in the cities of Kiev, Kharkov, Jekaterinoslaw, Poltava and Odessa.

A set of 5 stamps was issued in 1918 for general use in the Ukrainian Peoples Republic.  10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 schahiw, each with a different design.
