I was born in 1956 in the town of Strathroy Ontario and lived near Parkhill Ontario until 1964, when my family moved to a farm near Watford Ontario. We grew cash crops on 200 acres of land.

I attended high school in Petrolia Ontario, LCCVI. Majored in Electronics and Electricity but never pursued that as a career. Something about working with high voltages bothered me!

I worked for Ford Motor Company for 28 years. I retired in May 2007 when the plant went down to one shift.

My wife and I were married in May 1982. We now live in St.Thomas. We have two daughters, the oldest has graduated from Fanshawe with her RPN Degree. She works at the Hosptial and a nursing home part time. Our  youngest daughter is a Pharmacy Technician and it employed at a busy drug store in St Thomas/

On May 23/06 I underwent a Double By Pass operation. I had a mild heart attack on Mother’s Day which lead to having an angiogram and finding out I had two blocked arteries. So under the knife I went. I was back on the golf course within 6 weeks of my by pass. I have fully recovered now and feel great.
