After a busy summer, Shaggy has changed personnel... We're happy to Lindsay Schindler who will be filling in for the hard working Jaclyn Ford who is attending graduate school in Nova Scotia. Best of luck with that Jac, just remember to play a few tunes while you're there!

- Mark... In addition to his other career as an outstanding painter (his work can be seen at www.whiterockgallery.com/Fletcher.htm), Mark is also a member of the celtic band "Kettle's On". This fall he has been recording his own album "The Unbroken Line", which has a release date of November 30th...just in time to fill all of your Christmas Stocking needs! Because of his dexterity on so many instruments, Mark has very conveniently, for him at least, been able to record the majority of the tracks himself, with just a sprinkling of Guest Artists to do a few things. I just hope it doesn't put the rest of the band out of work...and now Mark and Lindsay have branched out once again with "Rant Maggie Rant". Check them out at markfletcher.ca

- Ian... Ian is currently playing Flute, Piccolo, Clarinet and Bass Clarinet for the Stratford Festival's production of "Music Man", and also playing Flutes, Recorders, Whistles, Pipes and Bombarde on tape for this year's Festival production of "The Taming of the Shrew". If you happen to have seen the Festival's production of "MacBeth" a couple of years ago, you would have heard him playing the Uilleann Pipes, Whistle and Highland bagpipes. As well, Ian played at the Owen Sound Celtic Festival with "Brandubh", and with the eponymously named "Harper, Henry, McGee and O'Kelly" group. Ian spends the majority of his spare time trying to learn the tunes that Mark has written....

- Paul... This past season Paul composed the music for the Stratford Festival's production of "An Ideal Husband" directed by the Festival's Artistic Director Richard Monette. Paul is one of the busier free lance musicians in town, fluent on piano, upright bass and accordion, although he has yet to tap into the Oktoberfest circuit with his squeezebox prowess!.

- Jaclyn... As mentioned above, Jac is down in Nova Scotia doing her Masters degree in Kinesiology. The things she'll do just to get out of rehearsing! And of course, as always, donations to the Jaclyn Ford Student Relief Fund can be accepted by all band members. She looks forward (we hope!) to returning to the band when she's done...

- Dave... Dave is so busy as a player, teacher and clinician that we spend most of our time trying to fit in rehearsals around his busy schedule. In addition to teaching at Wilfred Laurier University in Waterloo, Dave is also playing this year's Stratford Festival's productions of "Music Man" and "Cabaret"...

- Barb... Barb was in last year's Stratford Festival's productions of "Oklahoma!" and "Pentecost", for which she had to learn to speak Turkish...(for "Pentecost", not "Oklahoma!"). She's also involved in a few workshops of new works in production at the Festival, including "Overboard" a new piece by Marion Adler and Kim Horsman.

- Lindsay... As the newest member of the band, she has the most work to do. Besides putting up with 4 old guys, she has to learn all our tunes. Throw into the mix the fact that she has a new son, Cole, as has just moved into a new house...you get the idea!! Add to the mix "Rant Maggie Rant" and her teaching duties, we don't know how she does it!
