CHRISTIAN EVIDENCES AA01 FA01
How do we know the Bible is true ? Beginning with a question ("The Bible...How Reliable ?"), overwhelming evidence turns the question into an exclamation ("The Bible...How Reliable !"). Epistemology (where does truth come from ?) and Apologetics (the defense of our faith) combine to lay the firmest of foundations beneath our studies and our lives. A tonic for your faith!

PRINCIPLES OF BIBLE STUDY AA02
Not everyone studies the Bible using proper study principles. For instance, to take a number from one chapter of a book on mathematics, a second number from another chapter, and a third number from a third chapter...would not produce a logical formula for anything ! The Bible itself gives us principles to follow. Included in the course...a filing system at the very beginning of Bibleschool, to preserve all the good things about to be learned, to organize one’s ministry.

BIBLE ATLAS AA03
A half credit course, essential to understanding the entire Bible as countries, provinces, rivers, cities and towns are mentioned throughout the Bible. Prophetic portions mention geographic areas. The course provides a framework for studying the entire Bible.

BIBLE CHRONOLOGY AA04
Most people don’t realize that Job lived in the time of Abraham...because the book of Job is found near the middle of the Bible, and Abraham is found at the beginning (in Genesis). The Bible is not arranged chronologically—and we don’t want to be like the college graduate that asked his pastor how come Noah didn’t invite the 12 disciples on the ark with him ! This course builds a framework essential to understanding the Bible. Our text book for the course is the Chronological Bible by Professor Ed Reese of Hyles-Anderson College in Indiana.

SYNCHRONIZED BIBLE READING AA14
It would be a tragedy if a Bible college student graduated without ever reading the Bible through ! The world’s greatest book, best seller in every century since the invention of printing, and the foundation for every article in our statement of faith...it must be read. Our unique reading program, designed to allow the reading of the Bible in chronological order (in the order it actually happened) reinforces what was learned in Bible Chronology classes. The reading credits are distributed throughout the curriculum, but could easily be read on a daily devotional basis, getting "ahead" of the credit schedule.

BASIC BIBLE TRUTHS AA05
Jesus blamed the Pharisees for being so picky and knowledgeable about details (like tithing the few mint plants in their garden), while failing to grasp the major themes of the Bible...like justice and mercy. In this course, at the very beginning of our curriculum, "majors on majors", emphasizing the great themes of the Bible...like love, holiness, fidelity to the word, justice, forgiveness, etc. Twelve great Bible themes—the "majors" of our faith.

SYSTEMATIC THEOLOGY I AA06 ...THE CHARACTER OF GOD
One of the greatest blessings in our entire curriculum is this study of 40 characteristics of the God who created and who operates this universe ! So very basic to understanding what is happening, and why...so very basic to living a life in harmony with the universe. The last lesson ("Filled with All the Fulness of God") is a high point in theological study and personal devotion !

PRACTICAL CHRISTIANITY AA07
Using a text book by Ron Marr, this is an ideal follow up to the course on the character of God. Learning to relax in the presence of an almighty and infinitely loving God, allowing Him to do the work in our lives, in contrast to our working to accomplish godly goals in the energy of the flesh...a devotional treat !

BOOK STUDY I AA08...GENESIS, JOB and EXODUS
Still following the framework laid in Bible Chronology and reinforced through Synchronized JOB and EXODUS Bible Reading, we start where the Bible starts--creation—and follow the narrative through the first 2,500 years of Biblical recorded history. A blessed study of foundational facts and spiritual lessons.

LIFE MANAGEMENT I AA09...HAPPY IN THE SERVICE OF THE KING
"I’m willing to do God’s will, but how do I know what it is?" The answer to that, plus motivation, principles of life management, how to know right from wrong—essential life management principles are covered in this course that releases and focuses energy to do what God wants in the way He wants us to do it. A blessing for those who want to get their life in order.

GOSPEL PREACHING I and II AA10 (6 lessons ½ credit each FA05)
We are convinced that one of the major callings of the church in the last days is evangelism. Only twice in the history of the world are all the unsaved lost in a single day...when God closed the door of Noah’s ark, and the coming day when God will close the door of the church. Literally billions of people who do not know Jesus as Saviour and Lord will be forever lost in an instant...and we are the generation that will see that happen ! What an enthusiasm for evangelism there ought to be in the church today ! This course, and others that follow, are designed to properly and adequately cause our students to "think evangelism" in daily living and ministry. Gospel Preaching looks at the gospel message from many different aspects, educating us on the doctrines of the atonement, the new birth, etc.

MUSIC APPRECIATION AA11
A "fun" course...and introduction to music for those who don’t know a soprano from a saxaphone! We explore the science of sound, the mathematical principles on which music is based, the morality of music (musicology), even conducting. Lots of enjoyment woven into this course...very basic musical principles.

BOOK STUDY II PSALMS, PROVERBS, ECCLESIASTES (12 lessons one credit AA12)
The books of poetry are studied in all their beauty...devotional, instructional, prophetic...all in context of when and why they were written. An introduction to books that are a veritable mine of inexhaustible treasure to be explored over and over during a lifetime of devotion !

PUBLIC SPEAKING AA13
Taught by the winner of the Oratory Trophy of Ontario and of the national debating championship of the Insurance Institute of Canada, the very basics of public speaking are taught, modelled and practised. Moving beyond self-consciousness and nervousness to concentrating on the message to be delivered...a real skill-learning and problem-solving course.

CHRISTIAN WORK ASSIGNMENT AA15
Throughout the curriculum we provide credits for Christian ministry...current or past. This could range from preaching to youth work, from office work to visitation...all in support of evangelical ministry. Properly supervised with written confirmation...practical service for those who are active in the service of the King of Kings.

SCIENCE AND SCRIPTURE AB01
Those who think that science and the Bible do not agree are in for a pleasant surprise ! The Bible speaks of "science, falsely so-called"...and when one separates the actual facts from theories, the truth comes clearly shining through. Creation vs. evolution is a major part of this course...so very basic to a proper witness in our modern society. This is a crucial study for our day !

THE SYNOPTIC GOSPELS AB02
A study of the synoptic gospels (Matthew, Mark and Luke), again following the chronology method. Jesus is the greatest teacher Who ever lived; his class of eleven graduates literally changed the history of the world. No one’s education is complete until they know what He taught. His life, His works, His words.

ANCIENT HISTORY IN BIBLE LIGHT (12 lessons - 1 credit AB03)
A brief look at the history of the world in Bible times as background for prophetic studies. The book of Daniel will be understood much better through this course. There are so many interesting stories, that this course almost becomes entertainment !

BOOK STUDY III AB04 DANIEL--Prophet and Statesman
The first major course on prophecy, as we study this prophet and statesman who was quite a teen, quite a man, quite a senior citizen...an example to us all his entire life ! His prophetic writings form the very foundation for the understanding of future events. What a blessed course for those beginning to comprehend prophecy !

EVANGELISM I AB05
(See comments on Gospel Preaching, page three of this manual.) This course focuses on personal evangelism...how to lead a soul to Christ, how to witness in daily living, dealing with common questions and objections to the gospel, and the kind of daily life that is an advertisement for the gospel.

SURVIVAL METHODS (12 lessons 1 credit BB11)
The first six lessons are basic survival, they could also be called wilderness survival. They are designed to help the student survive using only basic skills and what they are wearing on their back. This is an essential course for anyone that camps, canoes, hikes or just wants to prepare for foreseen or unforeseen natural disasters. Concentrates on physical survival priorities, such as; shelter, fire, water, food, signaling devices and also spiritual survival priorities. A good one to prepare for a mark economy!
The next six lessons are advanced survival and specialize in possible foreseeable disasters, such as Y2K. It will elaborate on communication, supplies, shelter, financial, preparing others, and wilderness first aid. Learn how to help family, friends, and neighbours in what could be their greatest hour of need by preparing, sharing and evangelizing. Learn how to store up extra oil for your lamp with this course.
A must have for those exploring God’s creation and expectantly awaiting Jesus’ quick return.

JOURNEY TO THE CENTRE OF LIFE AB06
This course is the keystone of our curriculum. It deals with a Christian world-life view in contrast to the humanism that surrounds us. Refreshing in its ability to face head-on the issues of our times and the absolute demands of Scripture, it opens up entirely new realms of Christian witness. This course forms the starting point for our Master of Bible Research program. We consider this course to be essential !

CHRISTIAN CHARACTER I AB07
The Bible is not so academic that it does not affect our innermost being. Bible truths get deep down in our souls...like holiness, forgiveness, baptism, the fruit of the Spirit...changing us, bringing us to be like Jesus. Devotional and practical.

MISSIONS...THE VISION AND THE MANDATE AB08
There are so many portions of Scripture dealing with world missions...starting with the "great commission" this subject is far too important to be confined to one week of the year in a church’s annual calendar. Students are given a full view of the importance of this topic, with the Holy Spirit’s presence to call to missionary service as He wishes.

BOOK STUDY IV AB11... THE WRITINGS OF JOHN
John, the disciple whom Jesus loved, and writer of five of the books of the New Testament. We study all but Revelation in this course, feel his heartbeat, follow his major themes, explore his value system as he speaks in absolute terms to a pragmatic age.

PRAYER AND FASTING AB12
Our principal attended a major Bible college conference in the company of the president of a major missionary society. In one of his addresses, this missionary leader spoke of Christian education being the learning of the commands of Jesus. He said, "We all know what Jesus taught us to pray, for instance...by the way, do you have a course on prayer in this school?" We answer, "Yes, we do". This most important aspect of Christian living is taught...and practised...in this course.

BIBLE BIOGRAPHIES (6 lessons ½ credit AB13)
One of the greatest blessings of Bible study is the study of great people of the Bible. From David to Joshua, from Samson to Joab, we see life’s greatest lessons taught by example...and we learn from their mistakes. This course brings to life the principles we learn in other courses.

READING OF THE CHRISTIAN CLASSICS AB14
Our principal once had an apprentice assigned to his church by a well-known Bible college. In designing a program for him, he included the reading of special books from his library—the cream of the crop...the icing on the cake. The student was ecstatic over the reading program, so different from the reading program at the college. We believe it is more important to be familiar with the best of the centuries of Christian writers, whose works have survived the sifting of time, than to be familiar with the latest fads. We encourage our student to "lick the icing bowl".

SYSTEMATIC THEOLOGY II FA02a...DOCTRINE OF MAN
Man was created tripartite (body, soul, spirit), perfect, innocent. What happens when we die? Can spiritists contact the dead ? Was there a major change in the destiny of believers when Jesus died and resurrected...and where was Jesus in those three days ? What will our resurrection bodies be like ? This is a "high interest" course, answering many questions of believers and unbelievers alike.

LIFE MANAGEMENT II FA03...THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT
(See Life Management I notes on page three). The Gifts of the Spirit are distributed by God the Holy Spirit sovereignly, received by Christians, recognized and affirmed by the church, enabling His servants to minister effectively. This is the divine dimension of church ministry, the super-natural dynamo behind the church and the believer. This is an essential study for those entering ministry of any kind.

THE CHURCH OF THE LAST DAYS FA04...END GAME
Taught by the author(s) of the book by the same name, and in seminars, this course is (we believe) critical to the understanding of the days in which we live, to know the order of events that are coming, and the ministry we ought to be conducting in harmony with God’s program. The church of the last days must know that they ARE the church of the last days if they are to accomplish the ministry that God wants them to accomplish. A course that many have appreciated and recommended

SYSTEMATIC THEOLOGY III FA06...GOD THE SON
What a blessed study is the Son of God! His pre-existence, His condescension, His atonement, His exaltation, His intercession, His triumphant return, His final judgements...and all of this great drama featuring "this same Jesus". A blessed study.

BOOK STUDY V ...THE BOOK OF ACTS (12 lessons one credit FA07)
The Acts of the Apostles (and the early church) shows us the agenda and the management principles practised by those who knew Jesus personally, and who were taught directly by Him. Their dedication, their faithfulness under persecution, their settling of disputes, their persistent witness...all demonstrate lessons we ought to know.
