Statement of Faith

We believe in the triune Lord - God the Father, Jesus Christ His Son and the Holy Spirit and as followers of Christ we believe it is the responsibility of the Christian community "to act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with our God" (Micah 6:8)

Article #1: The corporation shall be known as Rehoboth Girlsą Home of Refuge and Support.

Article #2: The purpose is to provide a Christian home for expecting, unwed, young women in crisis situations.

Article #3: The objective of the Home is to show the love of Christ in a loving and caring atmosphere, helping the residents set goals, teach basic living skills and help them continue their education.

Article #4: The corporation is founded upon and will be operated according to the infallible Word of God.

Article #5: Article #4, on which this corporation is based, may not be altered or ignored.

Statement of Purpose

Rehoboth Home, located at 32 Broadway Street, Springfield, Ontario, is a Christian ministry for single young women who are experiencing a crisis pregnancy, and was set up to provide an alternative to abortion. The aim is to address the whole person: body, mind and spirit. The objective is to show the love of Christ in a safe and caring environment. The goals are to help young women:
1. Plan for and work towards short-term and long-term goals.
2. Continue education and train for job skills.
3. Learn basic living skills.
4. Stimulate personal growth.
5. Mainstream young women and their children back into society.

The specific purpose of Rehoboth Support Housing, located at 43, St. Catharine Street, St. Thomas, Ontario, is to provide pre-natal and post-natal services for women wishing semi-independent living.

1. Resource staff and the program help to prepare the residents to live independently in the community.
2. The length of residency depends on the clientsą need. The maximum occupancy period is one year.
3. No young woman will be refused based on race, religion or ethnic origin.

Rehoboth Crisis Pregnancy Centre, located at 1 Southwick Street, St. Thomas, Ontario, provides confidential services in a non-judgmental atmosphere.

1. Trained staff provide support, information and advice as requested.
2. No-one will be refused help.
