Sculpture Parks & Gardens make terrific venues for displaying & viewing works of sculpture. Outdoor sculpture can have a strong presence which has the ability to enhance an outdoor environment & expand it's public & social relationships. A peaceful walk through a Sculpture Park or Garden can be an uplifting & refreshing way of experiencing sculpture & nature together in a very open & creative atmosphere. I highly recommend this special experience to everyone.

Here is a listing of some sculpture parks to visit & enjoy. More will follow. If you would like to add a sculpture park click here.

- Windsor Sculpture Garden - Winding along the waterfront parkland of Canada's southernmost urban centre. Windsor Sculpture Garden Modern sculpture on the border - A meeting place for expression. The collection purposely does not conform to any one artistic vision. It is a strange balance, a sort of convergence that shows so much difference only to suggest that perhaps we are all, in some small way, connected. A visitor on this path is continually presented with the infinite complexity of our shared human experience. Location: Assumption & Centennial Parks, Riverside Dr. West, between the Ambassador Bridge & Curry Ave. - Open dawn to dusk - call (519) 253-2300

- The Isamu Noguchi Garden Museum A comprehensive collection of artwork by sculptor Isamu Noguchi (1904-1988) in a tranquil setting created by the artist. On exhibition are more than 250 works, including stone, metal, wood, and clay sculptures - also, models for public projects and gardens, dance sets, and Noguchi's Akari light sculptures. Housed in thirteen galleries within a converted factory building, and circling a garden containing major granite and basalt sculptures. The museum presents one of the most dramatic installations of art in the city of new York. 32-37 Vernon Blvd. at 33rd Rd. Long Island City Queens New York 11106, (718)721-1932.

- Storm King Art Center Masterworks, many large-scale and especially sited, are on view throughout the 400-acre sculpture park.
