The new standard in tow carts

The T-Dolly is a sleek and clutter free design.

I designed the T-Dolly to overcome some of the bulk , clutter and short comings of the traditional tow dollies being the "A" frame design. Tow dollies need to be simple, strong and worry free.

With the "T" design you can freely walk up to the dolly with the keel support collapsed , place the base bar into the holders and then lift the keel support up with the keel. It is particularly nice to have this feature when you have the tail into the wind.

Here are some of its features ;

1] The keel support is telescopic and can be angle forward, backward or folded right down out of the way.

2] The control bar supports adjust quickly for various widths of basetubes and it will provide ample clearance for any type of wheel.

3] The control barholder has a convenient solid hand grip at the base bar.(easy grip even for short fingers)

4] The wheels are built for strength and smooth ride. No wheel vibration or shimmy.

5] It is made from steel vs. aluminum so that materials are readily available, inexpensive and easy to assemble .. The weight of the dolly is approx. 90 lbs. which helps to keep it stable strong and rattle free. It is designed for the ground not the air.

6] It is virtually effortless to use and has a proven track record with many thousands of tows all over the world since being introduced in 1998.

7] A good way to move your glider around on the field, even if you're hooked in.  Just straddle the center bar hold the base tube and hand grips and start walking. Nothing to trip your feet as in the triangular type carts.

8] Safer since there is nothing to pass the tow line under in error .

9] The new model comes with a detachable design to collapse it for transporting to your favorite flying sites.

I have written a manual with step by step assembly instructions to build a state of the art Tow dolly. It also includes  an abundance of jpegs of all the parts under construction and pictures of the finished product with several views for a more comprehensive understanding.

The 2002 model can be adapted  with the new flat carbon base bars .  New style and engineer enhancements for a  better system.

As you may realize , the hang gliding market is small and there fore makes research and development expensive and time consuming.  So , needless to say the evolution of ideas that I have will come but not as quickly as I would like to present to you.
