Cost of repair is 20% of Scott price up to our Regular Price listed for stamp
values up to $100.00. For stamps with a Scott value of greater than $100.00
please add a surcharge of 2% of the Scott list price.

Terms: Cash, money-order or cheque with order, payable to FCI Stamp Restoration
Service (prices are in US Dollars). We are currently looking into setting up
VISA and MASTERCARD accounts. We can only respond to claims within 3 weeks.
Please allow 2 - 3 weeks for return of order. Prices & discounts are subject to
change without notice.
Note: Unless otherwise specified, stamps for which hinge removal is not possible
will be regummed. We will return your order the same way as shipped, first class
mail is usually ok, it often attracts less attention than registered mail. Also,
any shipment sent to us should be addressed to FCI - SRS for the same reason.
Stamps and Souvenir sheets with thins are not suitable for regumming without
refilling the thins. Please submit an itemized list of stamps using Scott numbers
and prices and the type of work required. Also, please include a photocopy of
the stamps identifying them with the Scott numbers or ship them individually
identified. You will be billed an additional $1.50 per stamp if this
information is missing. Where possible, please include sample stamps with
original gum, (usually low values from the same set which are clearly marked as
samples), so that we may more closely match the gum on stamps to be repaired.
Not all types of work can be performed on all stamps, i.e. hinge removal by
retaining original gum or spot removal.
Limit of Liability: In case of lost shipments, our liability does not exceed
the amount reimbursed by the Post Office.

Our service is only intended to maintain stamps in good condition and to ensure
that future generations will also be able to find collectible pieces. It is the
responsibility of philatelists to inform buyers of any repair/restoration work
performed on these items.

REMINDER: Please enclose a photocopy of all stamps in the shipment and identify
these items with the Scott numbers OR ship them individually identified. This
will save us from having to look up all the numbers and match them to the
stamps in order that we can perform the required work. For each item we have to
look up you will be billed an additional $1.50. Also, as mentioned above, if
paying by cheque, please make it payable to FCI Stamp Restoration Service.
