To tow your sidekick using a tow bar with all four wheels on the ground fallow these simple instructions.Make sure your hubs are unlocked, For manual hubs turn the dial to the "free"position,for automatic hubs bring the vehicle to a complete stop,now shift the transfer case lever into the 2H (2 wheel drive high) now in the opposite direction you were driving before coming to a complete stop drive the vehicle 5ft.or 2m your hubs should now be unlocked. Turn your key in the ignition to the "ACC" position to unlock the steering wheel to avoid damage to the steering column while towing.,release the emergency brake,put the transmission into second gear and make sure the transfer case is in the neutral(N)position.Install your tow bar and your ready to roll.When on the road stop every 200miles or 300km with the transmission still in second gear and the transfer case still in neutral start the truck and rev the engine for a minute or two to get the oil circulating to prevent damage and keep everything moving smoothly.

To tow your truck using a car dolly you will need to unlock your hubs.For manual hubs turn the dial to the "free"position,for automatic hubs bring the vehicle to a complete stop,now shift the transfer case lever into the 2H (2 wheel drive high) now in the opposite direction you were driving before coming to a complete stop drive the vehicle 5ft.or 2m your hubs should now be unlocked. Now install the dolly fallowing the dolly manufacturers instructions.Turn the key in your ignition to the "ACC" position unlocking your steering wheel as to prevent damage to the steering column while towing.Make sure your front tires are straight and install a steering wheel clamp to secure it.Now you should be ready to tow your truck.
