Selected in 7th round  105th overall in the 1973 NHL draft by the Minnesota North Stars
Selected in the 5th round 56th overall in the 1973 WHA draft by the Toronto Toros
Was founding director of Cumberland Barons Minor Hockey Club.
Served as general manager of Gloucester and Ottawa (CJHL).
Was Toronto Toros  when it relocated to Birmingham in 1976.
Traded by Birmingham along with  Jeff Jacques to Edmonton in exchange for Pete Laframboise, Danny Arndt and Chris Evans in September 1977 but instead chose to enter NHL and never played for Oilers.
Played on Phoenix (CHL) team that folded on Dec. 13, 1978.
Nistico never signed with Minnesota, instead jumping to the WHA with Toronto. After four seasons in the WHA, his NHL rights expired and he became a free agent when Minnesota did not offer him a contract for the 1977-78 season. He signed a five-game tryout contract with Colorado on Nov. 6, 1977.
