Hannah decided to take over the reception
area right away, she thought she would add her 2 cents as to when appointments
should be - not during nap time please! actually this lady is very helpful
in making sure we don't have to drive to Hamilton too often. Believe
me it sure is appreciated!

This lady is Lida Jones, she makes sure we
see all the people that we are supposed to at our visits to the clinic.

This gentleman is the Pediatrician. I forget
his name (SORRY!) Hannah is thoroughly enjoying this visit! (no pokes
and prods this time! - at least not much!)

Dr DeMaria is Hannah's Urologist. Because
Spina Bifida can effect bowel & bladder control we have to continually
monitor her bladder & kidneys. Hannah has regular ultrasounds
and voiding cystograms to make sure that reflux does not occur. So
far so good. At this stage we really don't know if Hannah will have
bowel & bladder control - all babies at this stage don't!

This is Hannah's neurologist Dr Hollenberg.
He performed the surgery that removed the cyst form Hannah's back.
If I may say so he did a wonderful job.

These ladies are involved with orthodics,
I think. We were to talk to them about bracing. I'd really
like to know what their names and positions are and when I do I will fill
you in.

This is Elizabeth Bell, she is an occupational
therapist. her job is to make sure that Hannah is able to live with her
disability. working with sitting etc. Hannah really enjoys all the
toys she brings!
Elizabeth has been working with Hannah since
July 1999

This is Doreen Hunter, Hannah has been seeing
her regularly since July 1999. Doreen is a physiotherapist and works on
Hannah's hips feet etc.
