Goulash
800 grams stewing beef
1 or 2 cooking onions
32 oz can tomato sauce
32 oz water
salt, pepper, paprika
4 large potatos
4 large carotts
2 stalks celery
parsley
-
lightly saute shopped onions, then set aside.

flour chunks of beef and brown over high heat.

add sauted onions, tomato sauce, water & spices

cover, bring to a boil and simmer 2 hours - stir every 1/2 hour
-
add vegetables and parsley and simmer 1 hour longer
-
sauce should have thickened - enjoy with a good red wine.
