A. M. H. we are dedicated to helping people with mental handicaps and their families. It is our goal to ensure that all people with a mental handicap have the opportunity to participate in a manner which uses  and respects the resources of the community through:  Supporting individuals and their families in making choices and accessing a full range of programs and service options, Providing support to families, Fostering awareness and acceptance in the community, and Assessing current and future needs and developing plans to respond to them.     In order to achieve our goals our association provides services and programs which support people accessing services and programs which meet their needs.
