To build a one of these ABS artilary cannons you will need the following:
3' of 1-1/2" ABS pipe
2' of 3" ABS pipe
1-1/2" to 3" reducer
3" clean-out and end cap
ABS glue
bolt and nut
B-B-Q ignitor
Duct tape (If you can't do it, duct
it...If you can't dcut it, don't do it!!)
Epoxy glue
Assembely instructions:
1. Drill a hole in the 3" ABS (or chamber) pipe and insert bothe leadt of the ignitor into the chamber. If there is only one lead then attach a wire to the metal on the push-button part of the ignitor. Then epoxy glue it in place.
2. Attach the 1-1/2" to the 3" with the reducer and glue in place with the ABS glue.
3. Glue the clean-out to the back of the chamber (leave the cap off to exhaust the gasses)
4. Drill a hole in the barrel close to the chamber, about 2" from the reducer, (1-1/2" ABS pipe) and insert the bolt. screw nut onto the end.
5. Use the duct tape to attach the button to the cannon (usually placed on the reducer).

Firing:
You will need some potatoes and some hair spray (The airosaul type is HIGHLY recomended!!)and a long stick. (Broken hockey sticks are perfect!)
1. Open chamber and sray in the hair spray then close.
2. placee potato in the end of the barrel (if it doesn't fit, MAKE IT FIT!!!) and push with stick until it hits the bolt.
3. Aim and push button until you hear a loud and the potato fires out the end of the barrel at speeds of up to 100 mph!!! The potato should fly for 100-200 yards!!!

2. Spray a bit of alcohol in to the chamber with the hairspray. The alcohol is the flammable part of the hairspray.
3. Experiment with different types of ammo :
