Last year's toys are often forgotton toys. As children mature, they outgrow
their dolls and trucks and games. Rather than having these items gather dust on
a shelf or in a closet, ask your children to sort through the things they never
play with and make a donation of the ones that are not too worn.
Once they have gone through their own toys, have them collect toys from
friends and schoolmates. Then help the children find organizations that could
make good use of toys and games, and take the items there with your children.
